Our Team

Douglas Pleus

Douglas ("Doug") Pleus has worked both in public accounting and in private industry. After graduating from the University of Missouri Columbia, he joined a "Big Eight" accounting firm in Kansas City, MO. There, he gained tax and consulting experience working with a very diverse client base. Doug then joined an international commercial refrigeration company based in St. Louis where he gained experience in income and sales/use taxes, management, marketing, and financial reporting. He returned to public accounting, taking a position with a Top 10 national accounting firm, working alongside other former Big Eight accounting firm directors and managers.  As the Tax Practice Leader and Vice President, he also worked with a variety of small and medium-sized businesses, including healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, technology, and service businesses.  Additionally his clients included high wealth and complex individual clients.  

Doug is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Missouri. He is a member of both the AICPA and MSCPA.

Diana Vaughan

 Diana is a certified public accountant with over twenty years of public and private accounting experience.  Diana spent several years in public accounting, including several years with a large regional accounting firm.  After working for a national communications company, Diana spent several years working with Doug at a Top 10 national accounting firm.
